Accessibility, security & safety. An invitation to explore shared public areas, with lighting to enhance the natural landscape. Pathway lighting facilitates efficient use of an urban environment.
Pathway lighting is SOLABOLLARD’s bread and butter. Spaced about 9 to 12 metres apart, SOLABOLLARD is a “dig in and walk away” off-grid, long-term, low-maintenance, solar bollard light.
SOLABLADE and SOLANOVA are an overhead lighting option for pathway lighting in our sola range.
Accessibility, Safety & Security.
Solar is a cost-effective option for car park lighting: No cabling, no trenching, no power bills, low maintenance.
HIGHLUX recommends SOLABLADE and SOLANOVA as the two overhead lighting options for car parks. Superior optics in our selected luminaires means light reaches to the edge of the car park, and emits a light able to illuminate an entire area for a “security scan”.
Accessibility, security & safety, with an invitation to explore & interact with local ecosystems.
Parks and reserves facilitate community connectedness and incidental interactions with nature.
HIGHLUX is experienced in lighting parks and reserves that lie adjacent (or even within) built up residential areas, effectively striking that balance between achieving the lighting objective often desired by residents, but with no light spill in to private areas, and with the least disruption to the immediate local ecosystem.
HIGHLUX recommends SOLABOLLARD, SOLABLADE or SOLANOVA for parks & reserves.
Safety & security, mission critical lighting. Tight spots, new developments, back lanes, suburban streets, solanova has done them all! SOLANOVA is our in-house, fully customisable, premium solar lighting system, built specifically for this application.
Accessibility, security & safety.
Pedestrian access ways (PAW) are traffic-free lane ways, designed to facilitate easy and efficient pedestrian movement in all areas of built environments.
Lighting up PAW with stand-alone, robust, reliable solar is the icing on the cake!
HIGHLUX recommends either the SOLABOLLARD or SOLANOVA for PAW because of the product’s high vandal resistance (IK10) & reliable dusk to dawn lighting; both can achieve AS/NZS compliance for PAW.
An invitation to explore, with lighting to enhance the natural landscape.
Holiday parks are a magical experience for families. Lighting entices and facilitates exploration of the grounds, as well as improving safety and security for holiday-makers.
The low-level steady light provided by the solar bollard can mark out a pathway or landmark within the park without disruption to nearby campers and cabins. There’s nothing worse than a bright light snapping on and off in your eyes on holiday!
The SOLABLADE is a cost-effective option for entrances, roads, and other open areas within the holiday park, or for lighting above shared amenities such as BBQ areas. The standard program for SOLABLADE is that it is set to come on at dusk at full brightness for the first 3 hours of the night, then drops down to energy-saving mode (25%) for the rest of the night, turning off at dawn. In energy-saving mode, if motion is detected, the light ramps back up to 100%, dropping down again to 25% after 30 seconds of no motion being detected. What’s that? We don’t want light snapping on and off in our eyes on holiday? No, we don’t! SOLABLADE has a clever optic that directs the light in a fixed conical shape that limits back-spill and light waste. What this means is, the light is well-directed by the optic which makes for a more efficient light, and less light being sprayed around willy nilly. The SOLABLADE is best suited for the more open areas of the park, where a greater area of light may be needed.
The SOLABATON and SOLANERO, as our two more recent solar offerings, may also be of interest to holiday park off-grid solar options.
Safety, purpose-built, mission critical lighting.
Lighting on mine-sites was the very first job for HIGHLUX, and the reason HIGHLUX exists today! Mission-critical, temporary or permanent, customised or off-the-shelf, HIGHLUX is well-networked and familiar with the needs of our mining communities.
Safety & security, respectful & eco-friendly lighting.
With shift-work, and what can seem like constant movement within a mine camp, the right lights can be a humble and positive contribution to a well-rested and safe workforce.
SOLABOLLARD offers a soft, natural white light, guiding pedestrians throughout the camp. The dome-shaped head is aesthetically pleasing but has a practical application – no bird poo builds on top!
SOLABOLLARD is a “dig in and walk away” low maintenance, off-grid, reliable dusk to dawn little trooper, built to last beyond its (5+year) warranty. Environmentally speaking, the colour temperature of the light from SOLABOLLARD, and the LED optics directing the light downward, means there is very little light pollution, and the ecosystem immediate to each bollard is minimally affected.
Accessibility, safety & security. Enhance the natural landscape.
Where there’s water, solar is the safe and effective option. Off-grid, stand-alone, reliable dusk to dawn lighting for a jetty, boat ramp, pontoon, or floating walkway. The stand out choices for solar lighting here are SOLABOLLARD, SOLABLADE or SOLANOVA – yours for the taking. Depending on your budget, region location (wind load), mounting options and access, and of course, aesthetics, we’ve got your lighting needs covered.
Accessibility, security & safety. An invitation to explore shared living areas, enhance the natural landscape.
Campus grounds, retirement village, shared and assisted living, SOLABOLLARD creates a night-time labyrinth in shared outdoor spaces. The colour temperature of the light from these solar bollards, and the LED optics directing the light downward, means there is very little light pollution, and the ecosystem immediate to each bollard is minimally affected.
