What makes the solar bollard a reliable performer is the ability to "turn down the power" to match the expected sun input of these bollards.
HIGHLUX used the drawings of the grounds to mark out with our customer a configuration of solar bollard lights to facilitate safe pedestrian movement through the grounds in the evening.
Low (120, 80mA) and ultra-low (40mA) power models were required for the heavily shaded sections, while standard power (160mA) could be used in positions of full sun in winter.
