Solar Bollard lighting across the school grounds at St Ignatius College, VIC

St Ignatius needed a reliable, vandal resistant solar bollard to provide pathway lighting within the grounds of the school. Budget was tight; lighting was planned to maximise lighting priority areas, and a decision to space the bollards further apart along the pathway.

Waypoint Lighting with Solar Bollards to Guide Through the School Grounds

Budget was limited; to accomodate, lighting was planned to maximise lighting priority areas, and a decision to space the bollards further apart along the pathway.

Reliable Solar Lighting for Large Open Area

Even spaced at 15m apart, the Solar Bollard Gen 1 is a generous waypoint light.

In the photo “waypoint” is illustrated as the lights indicate “where the path is” from a distance.  However, up close, there will be dark patched along the path between each bollard placement.

As this particular path is not a high traffic pedestrian area at night, further spacing was the compromise to remain within budget, but to achieve night-time illumination of the grounds.
