Marking the Path with Solar Bollards to the Car Park with ASNZS Compliance Lighting (PP5)
The pathway to the car park was specified to be compliant to ASNZS Pedestrian Category (PP5) from the lodge’s complex to the car park.
In the photo at left, you can see the beginning of the pathway to the car park with the PP5 compliant lighting.
PP5 means the path is adequately illuminated to a minimum specified level of light along its length, with no dark patches between lights along the path.
Amenity & Waypoint Lighting with Solar Bollards, Ecologically Protective Low Level Lighting
Amenity and waypoint lighting highlights features and offers navigation points for holiday-makers. Amenity lighting offers the lowest level of lighting, consistent with wildlife friendly principles, strikes a balance between pedestrian accessibility, and protection of the immediate ecosystems.
A mix of base plate mounted and direct bury bollards were specified. The base-plate mounted option allows the bollard to be bolted directly to an existing structure allowing flexibility to strategically place each bollard for maximum effect as a waypoint light.
